Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd day of July in 1971. LeAnn Kymes and she were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss is an American bluegrass and country musician. Her birth date was July 23, 1971. She was a teenager when she first entered the music world and was a winner of local contests from the age of 10 of age and recording her first album at the age of 14 years. In 1987, she debuted her debut solo album following signing with Rounder Records. She joined the group with who she still performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. They released their first album in 1989.
