Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. It was not just the win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson into the limelight and fortune, but it also secured her an arrangement to RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. Since then, she has released a number of Studio albums. 3 of these made it to the US Billboard 200 chart, and others were just a little off. She is among the most well-known artists that made it through American Idol. With her professional development, she began experimenting with new themes and styles of music. She often co-wrote songs with her husband in order to express her thoughts. Due to her uniqueness and skill as a singer her work was recognized by reviewers and was awarded a couple of prestigious award. The most notable accomplishment is the fact that she was awarded 3 Grammy awards. Apart from her singing profession, she has also worked in film and TV. She is also the author of the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with numerous charities.
