Kari Samantha (born April 28th, 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actor and singer. Wuhrer's career began as she was still a teenager. Her most well-known role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders as well as her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a officer and dealer in cars). There are three siblings. The singer began performing in clubs as a teenager, and was known to sneak away from her home to perform. Kari was introduced to acting at 13, and she got her big break in 1987 on MTV Remote Control.
