Carol Lynley

Pics Carol Lynley Feet and LegsCarol Lynley, born Carole Ann Jones on February 13, 1942, and passed away on September 3, 2019 was an American actress best well-known for her roles in Blue Denim (1959), and The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Lynley was the daughter of an Irish father and a New England mother. Following her first professional venture as an actress, she became a model for children. Her nomination for the Theatre World Award for "one of the most promising people 1956-57" for her role in The Potting Shed. Lynley's film career began in 1958 with the Disney movie The Light in the Forest. Holiday for Lovers (1959), Blue Denim (1959) followed. She was nominated in the year 1959 for the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Female Newcomer - Female. The film was nominated for the Golden Globe Award again for Most Promising Youngcomer - Female a year later for Blue Denim.

Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss and her mother is English. Her family was in the south London Council Estate and went to The Brit School aged 14. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained the BA in acting.
